The UK branch organization “Freight Transport Association” (FTA), asks the UK government to stimulate the use of LNG and CNG as vehicle fuel. In a “Gas Manifest” the FTA states that gas is a suitable alternative for diesel. For the development of this type of fuel it is of importance that a network of gas fuel stations is realized. This will remove barriers for companies to switch from diesel to (bio-) LNG en CNG.
